Shining brightly after more than 3 years in the dark

On my way home last night, after buying a Lotto ticket at Sainsbury’s on Morrison Street, I turned right along Lothian Road and imediately noticed it was brighter.

The street light on Lamppost LKA36 outside Ali’s Cave had finally been repaired.

It was first reported dark to Clarence by e-mail, along with other street lights, in December 2007.

It has taken 3 years and 4 months to get repaired. Is this a record?
